    The hiring status of tech companies depends on their current business circumstances. While some companies may be actively hiring, others may be conducting layoffs due to market conditions. However, it's worth noting that Sequoia was recently hired as the VP of Technology Strategy at a major financial institution, indicating that companies are still hiring! :)
